The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has expressed optimism that the APC will win the House of Assembly.
Engr. Bashiru made the disclosure after casting his vote in Gegu Beki, described the process as an improvement on the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly Election, says the APC will win overwhelmingly.
Though he acknowledged the low voter turnout in the Assembly Election, expressed optimism that with time before the close of election, assured that they may come out.
The Commissioner praised the efforts of Gov Yahaya Bello in the unprecedented achievements recorded in Kogi LGA, hinged it on reason why the people are supporting the APC.
Engr Bashiru Gegu said the Electrification projects in several many communities of the area, upgrade of traditional rulers, empowerment and provision of potable water as reason why they people are appreciative of the State Government.
The Commissioner praised the people for their peaceful conduct in the House of Assembly election, thanked them for voting for the APC in the Presidential and National Assembly Election.
Engr. Bashiru Gegu promised to do more for the people of Kogi LGA, said his essence for service is to attract democracy dividends to the people.
