Ahead of the forthcoming Kogi Governorship Election slated for the later part of 2023, the Kogi Democrat Youth Association, have called on Dr. Sanusi Mohammed Ohiare to throw his hat into the ring, pointing out that he has the capacity to make the State great.
The Kogi Democratic Youth Association is a strong political pressure group, in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja and signed by Comr. Suleiman Ibrahim, National Secretary, said the call has become necessary in view of his outstanding public and private life.
The Youths explained that Dr Sanusi has earned the confidence votes of the Youths of the state at home and in the diaspora, said they are earnestly yearning to have him answer the clarion call.
The Youths praised Dr. Sanusi Mohammed for striving to justify his appointment by President Mohammadu Buhari, a feat they disclosed earned him a second term, expressed confidence that he has all it takes to make the State an envy in terms of development.
The Youth group described Dr. Sanusi as the best bet for Kogi APC in 2023, expressed optimism that with the bridge he has built across the divide, he would be an easy product to market.
The group lauded his impactful achievements that has direct bearings on the lives of the people, described Dr. Sanusi as the best option, with capacity to ensure peaceful co-existence amongst the state multi diverse population.
The group concluded by asking Dr. Sanusi to be ready for greater service for the State, described him as the Man Kogi is waiting for to salvage it from its present State to one desired by the people several years after creation.
Sanusi Mohammed Ohiare was born on 6th March 1985, is a Nigerian Rural energy development expert, public servant, the Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Fund and board Member of the Rural Electrification Agency who was appointed by president Muhammadu Buhari in April 2017.
The Rural Electrification Agency is one of the Federal Government agencies under the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing.
Dr. Sanusi was reappointed as Executive Director of the Rural electrification fund in January 2022 for another five years term by president Muhammadu Buhari.
The Youths urged all other well meaning individuals and groups in the State to earnestly yearn for Dr Sanusi, assuring that the State would make the desired progress under his leadership.
