Be proactive while discharging your duties, Cdr. Duro Jerry Omodara tasks men of Correctional Services.

The State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, Cdr. Duro Jerry Omodara has tasked men of the Correctional Services in the State to be proactive at all times in the discharge of their duties, stressing that the State Governor is resolved in making the State the most peaceful in the country.

Cdr. Jerry gave the charge when he received in audience the Assistant Inspector Correctional Service 2021/2022 who paid him a courtesy visit to to appreciate the efforts of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the perfect security architectural network the State is enjoying.

The Inspector Correctional Services Mr Stephen Aliu, who was the spokesperson of the group sincerely thanked Gov. Bello for the assistance given to men of the command during their course in Kaduna, described Gov. Bello’s security architecture as water tight, world standard, lauded the efforts in making lives and properties safe in the State.

Cdr. Jerry acknowledged the kind words showered on Gov. Bello, pointing out that the priority placed on security by Gov. Bello is the panacea that has led to the socio economic development of the state.

Cdr Jerry assured that no stone would be left unturned in making the state safe, advised criminals to stay clear of the state as measures put in place would make them meet their Waterloo if they cross the state.

He thanked the men of the Correctional services for the honour done to him to receive them on behalf of the Governor, advice them to be proactive in their duties urged them to live as one.

The Special Adviser charged them to always put Kogi first in all theirs dealings in the line of duty, assured that the state government is resolved to make security agencies working in the state enjoy the needed enabling environment to discharge their duties.

Earlier, Mr. Stephen Aliu appreciated the State Security Adviser for the fatherly role he played in ensuring the success of their course and for the open doors policy he operates.
