Okene Local Government acting Chairperson held meeting with all community leaders and members of the Okengwe Development Association ( ODA ) from Okene ii charges them to take up responsibilities in their various capacities and to curb domestic menaces and social vices with their maximum lawful authority in their societies respectively, a must.
Honorable Enyuse who delivered the interest of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to the entire necessary associations maintaining and sustaining the laws of the society especially the Okengwe Development Association (ODA) expressed Governor Bello’s security aims and objectives in Okene Local Government to be a do or die affair which will involve every person leading his or her unit in the society to enable a leadership that will satisfy the interest of the entire masses especially in this festive periods and beyond. She further communicated briefly the new method of security approaches and strategies to be a very strict, strong and lawful type and that no crime however little can be over-looked anymore as all cases if found guilty of any crime will be taken to the court of law and then treated judiciously and constitutionally.
Honorable Mrs Bilkisu Avosuahi Aliyu also demonstrated the zeal to look into Okene entire Development which will awaken all dilapidated facilities and assets cum strategies and mobilities in order for the facilities to carryout it assignment as tools or implements to aid the Local Government in tackling under-development and insecurity.
She further pledged to always put prompt calls to the Senior Special Assistant on Security to Okene Local Government Area, Honorable Zubair Amoka when duly necessary to attend to any pressing security threat ranging from the Local Government areas to the societies making up the LGA, security of lives and properties are our priority and so attention will be given specially to all security agencies and units to be able to curb any form of menace or crime anytime, any day as they will put up rapid response to all calls.
The Acting Chairperson also confirms that public schools will be thoroughly put in the order of safe hands for it safety while students are in school and when they are on vacations and so the various school facilities under danger of destruction or stealing away will be maximumly guided. The Agassa-Idoma road connection which is also under poor look was taken note of and also many of such dilapidated roads will be noted for maintenance.
The entire people of Okene ii through their grass-root leaders, traditional rulers and heads of communities drum their maximum support for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and specially appreciates and pray for him to continue to soar higher and greater in his political carrier meanwhile the Governor was also beautifully endorsed for GYB2PYB ( presidential ambition). Attestations to the zeal, strength and actions of the new administration of Okene LGA were expressed by many who were eligible to comment due to time consciousness.
