As Nigeria marks Children’s Day today, Hon. Sunday Karimi has urged parents to teach, sustain and retain old positive habits needed to be imbibed by Children towards becoming better Leaders.
The two time House of Representatives Member, who represented Yagba Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2019, made the call in a statement released to mark the Children’s Day celebration, urged parents to spend quality time with their children and to instill in them quality teachings and ways of life for a better tomorrow.
According to the statement, ” As the children’s day is marked today, I urge parents and guardians to relentlessly instill moral values in their wards in order to sustain a better society.
” Children deserve the best. But we must remember to teach them sound Moral teachings that would make them become the responsible future leaders we envisaged.
“I however reaffirm my unflinching resolve in my supportive capacity to do all within my power towards ensuring that the West child gets the best that can be offered him.
