A New Executive to handle the affairs of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties have been constituted in Kogi State.
Those in Acting Capacity are Kabir Mohammed – Chairman, Mouktah Atimah – Secretary, Dr. S.O. Igbomode – Treasurer, Mathew Ogbaje – Fin. Sec., Methuselah Alone – PRO, Bola Ameh – Woman Leader, Ibrahim Imam – Organising Sec.
The new Acting Chairman, Kabiru Mohammed, in a remarks, said he and other Executive Members in Acting Capacity promised to justify the confidence reposed on them, thanked the members for the confidence reposed on him.
Similarly, Mouktah Atimah described their emergence as a step towards repositioning Political Parties in the State, assured that a new dawn has set in for Political Parties in the State.
Speaking at the occasion, former Chairman of CNPP in the State, Iliyas Badanga, lamented that the activities of CNPP has been relegated to the background charged the new Executives to reposition the CNPP.
