The Kogi For A Better Tomorrow, Kogi State Political Pressure Group, says they have searched and are convinced that they have found one person who in the conviction of the generality of the people, have what it takes to govern Kogi State in the next dispensation.
Kogi For A Better Tommorow, a group that cuts across the three senatorial district of the state in a statement signed by Alfa Micheal Ukwomonu, Enezi Malika and Bimbo Oladele James, and issued in Lokoja, said Alhaji Aminu Suleiman Abubakar, a quantity Surveyor of international repute and a politician is unarguably the man with the capacity, Compassion competency, credibility and charisma that can salvage the State from its present predicament.
Although, the group said he contested the last gubernatorial election, ascribed the everybody must contest syndrome as reason why his best could not come out of him and in the end, the state lost the best amongst the multitude of aspirants who came to play the spoilers role.
Aminu, the group disclosed is a renowned public private partnership guru, has initiated, managed countless projects that have immense value to the nation.
The group added that he has all that is required to bail the state out of the quagmire present quagmire, insisting that he has the connections, he has the resources and political network that cuts across the length and breath of the Igala kingdom and some zones that have goodwill for worthy causes.
The group says what Kogi State needs at this time of our political crossroads is to take stock of why we are where we are and what should be done to return Power to a more vibrant, result oriented and mobile servant leader, with passion to move the state forward.
According to the group, ” We must forge common front in choosing who have the pedigree to wrestle power for the majority.
We should discourage multitude of aspirants who are concerned about their selfish interest. We should come out with our only best, which is today lies squarely on the shoulders of the likes of Alhaji Aminu Abubakar.
The group appealed to political actors, stakeholders and those passionate about Kogi State to begin to have conversations with Aminu Abubakar Suleiman to throw up himself for the project Reengineering and Resuscitation, pointing out that the time begins now.
