Ahead of December 12, Local Government Councils election in Kogi State, the pair of Hon. Adejoh Friday Nicodemus (PEXY) and Hon. Blessing Aisha Ekele (BAE) has vowed to initiate moves via their wealth of experience to institute new developmental strategy that will bring back the glory of the Local Government for the benefit of all.
The PEXY/BAE team Leaders dropped this hints in Lokoja on Monday shortly after they were screened, endorsed and introduced to the party leadership and the executive governor of kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoiza Bello.
They held that the emergence as the duo standard bearers of All Progressive Congress (APC) for Olamaboro Local Government in the December polls is a testimony of people’s choice and acceptance; and as such, they will not betray them, if given the mandate to oversee the affairs of the council in the next dispensation.
“We call on our supporters and fans, home and abroad to return home to lend their support to make this project a great success, come 12th December, 2020.
“A vote for PEXY/BAE is a vote for a new and better Olamabaro”, they expressed.
The team leaders who believed in the principle of “Action speaks louder than words” said they will not bother their people with much talk for now, assuring that they will keep to their words if they secured mandate of the people at December 12, council election .
While the team PEXY/BAE noted that the prospect for the greatness of Olamabaro has finally come via their support and mandate at the December polls, they said the journey of thousand miles starts with a step, imploring them to fix that step for APC candidate; “for the journey of the people of Olamabaro to kick off with fanfare, ushering the people into the promised land.
“With a greatful heart, we have accepted the good work and call of God, our political party, APC and the good people of Olamabaro Local government Area to represent them at the Local Government Council as chairman and Vice Chairman respectively”, a statement from team PEXY/BAE expressed.
The statement therefore has emphasized the acceptance of Hon. Adejo Friday Nicodemus, for chairman and Hon. Blessing Aisha Ekele, for vice chairman respectively.
The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission(KOSIEC), had fixed December 12 ,2020 for election into the 21 Local Government Areas of the state, assuring the contestants and electorate of free and fair council election.
