By joshua OGIRIMA FOR ODODO CONTINUITY PLATFORM TAKES CEMETERY CLEAN-UP EXERCISE TO OKENE
The Ogirima for Ododo Continuity Platform on Sunday Today, October 25, 2026, carried out a clean-up exercise at the Okene Cemetery in Idoji, Okene, Kogi State, as part of its ongoing Operation Clean Up Cemetery (Oganya) initiative across Kogi Central Senatorial District.
The exercise, which commenced at Adavi Cemetery, is aimed at providing clean and dignified resting places for the departed.
The next phases will cover Okehi, Ajaokuta, and Ogori-Magongo cemeteries.
The exercise was successful, with members of the platform participating actively in the humanitarian initiative.
The platform expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his cabinet for their support and encouragement. It also commended members for their commitment to the initiative.
The platform prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for the departed souls and grant them Aljannatul Ameen.
