I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
His death is a great loss to Kogi State and a significant moment in the political history of our dear state. His years of public service remain an important part of Kogi’s story.
On behalf of my family, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Idris family, his children and loved ones, the people of Kogi State, particularly the people of Omala and Idah, as well as his friends, associates and all who mourn his passing.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and grant his family and all who mourn him the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
