By joshua South Southerners in Kogi Pledge Total Support for Gov. Ododo, President Tinubu Ahead of 2027
The South Southern community in Kogi State has reiterated its resolve to stand firmly with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
The group, comprising indigenes and residents of Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Bayelsa states living in Kogi, made the declaration following what it described as the Governor’s genuine appointments, inclusion, and people-oriented support to the South community.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Spokesperson, Abu Michael, described Governor Ododo as a “perpetual promise keeper” and a leader whose humility, fairness and commitment to unity have endeared him to all tribes in the state.
“Come rain, come shine, the South Southerners in Kogi State have adopted the APC and Governor Ododo as our preferred promise keeper. Your Excellency, you have shown that leadership is about service, not slogans. You carry everyone along and we will not betray that trust. We are grateful and thanking you for the appointments as well as other support for the south south states residents of Nigeria resident in the state ,” Michael said.
He added that the Governor’s fatherly disposition and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda have given South Southerners in Kogi a true sense of belonging.
Michael further called on all South Southerners residing in Kogi State to register with the group to ensure “a united identification, stronger voice, and better representation under the Ododo-led administration.”
He assured that the community will mobilize massively to ensure a resounding victory for both Governor Ododo and President Tinubu in 2027, describing the APC as “the only party that guarantees peace, progress and prosperity for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or tongue.”
The group pledged to continue to be ambassadors of peace and development in Kogi State while supporting policies that promote unity and economic growth.
