The political atmosphere across Kogi West Senatorial District has received a major boost following the confirmation of Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming 2027 Kogi West Senatorial Election. The development has been widely celebrated by party faithful, political stakeholders, community leaders, youth groups, women associations, and supporters across the seven local government areas that make up the senatorial district.
The confirmation is being viewed as a significant milestone in the preparations for the 2027 general election, reinforcing confidence among APC members who believe Senator Karimi remains the party’s strongest candidate for the Kogi West Senate seat.
