Eggan Youths Promise to Deliver Kogi Assembly Speaker, APC, Completely in 2027 Polls

The Youths of Eggan in Lokoja Local Government Area under the aegis of Egganchi Masses Youth Association have promised to deliver an overwhelming votes for the ruling All Progtessives Congree, APC, in all elections in the 2027 polls.
This is contained in a press statement signed and made available to pressmen by the Chief Press Sectetary to the Speaker, Yabagi Mohammed.
This development, the statement said, followed a meeting they held with the member representing Lokoja II State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly who also doubles as the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf.
The Speaker, who described himself as a true son of Lokoja II, said Eggan is his home and that every son and daughter of the area is his brother and sister.
He further described people of Eggan Community as enterprising, inteligent and committed to whatever they put their minds to, and called on them not to pay attention to rumours as he is committed to only things that would move the communities he represents forward.
He urged them to have it in their minds that he would never do anything to short-change them in the efforts to bring development to his constituency.
The Speaker called on those resident in Lokoja town among them to work for the return of the member representing Lokoja I Constituency in the Assembly, Hon. Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani for a second term, noting that many of the negative things being spread about the lawmaker were false and they are politically motivated.
Earlier in his speech on behalf of the group, Comrade Abdullahi Madami expressed gratitude to the speaker for all he has continued to do for Lokoja II, particularly Eggan, as his impact is being felt across sectors, including primary healthcare, education, rural infrastructure, women and youth empowerment, employment opportunities, among others.
He promised to continue to mobilise the youths to ensure a landslide victory for the APC in next year’s election.
