
Security Boost in Lokoja International Market Yields Result as Thief Caught with Master Key


The proactive security measures introduced by the Chief Consultant of Lokoja International Market, Comr. Babangida Adams, have led to the arrest of a suspected thief inside the market early Friday morning.

According to market sources, the suspect used a master key to force open a shop and stole two pumping machines before being apprehended by the market’s security team.
The arrest was made possible by the newly inaugurated security post set up to complement the efforts of the Police.
Shop owners at the market expressed appreciation to Comr. Adams Babangida J, also known as Da’audu, for providing forest guard security and strengthening surveillance across the facility.
“Vigilance and security go hand in hand. Let’s keep our market safe,” one of the traders said, commending the Consultant’s swift action.
The initiative, launched just days ago, is aimed at curbing theft and improving safety for traders and customers in the Lokoja International Market.
