Easter: Engr. Edward Felicitates Yagba Federal Constituents, Called for Unity, Togetherness.
A leading contender for the 2027 House of Representative Election for Yagba Federal Constituency, Engr. Edward Meseko, has sent a message of felicitations to Christians on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of 2026 Easter celebration.
Engr. Edward noted that the coincidence of Ramadan and Lent this year signifies a powerful symbol of unity among adherents of different faiths.
He therefore urge Nigerians, particularly the people of Yagba Federal Constituency to embrace tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
The House of Representative hopeful said Easter provides an opportunity for reflection on shared values.
“At a time when the nation faces social and economic challenges, the virtues of compassion, patience, and selflessness remain vital for national progress,” the statement read.
He called on citizens, regardless of faith or background, to promote understanding and unity, urged Christians to embrace forgiveness as a cornerstone of peaceful coexistence.
Engr. Edward assured that his quest is influenced by the need to offer selfless services to the people, called on the people to strive for excellence, with Yagba Federal Constituency as an example.
“We must cultivate the habit of forgiveness. Forgive yourself and forgive others because we cannot live together without offending one another,” he said.
He further called on the people of Yagba Federal Constituency to shun politics of bitterness, speak the truth at all times and allow for fairness and justice to serve as ingredients for peaceful coexistence.
He concluded by wishing Christians in Yagba Federal Constituency a memorable Easter, assured of quality representation if elected to serve the people.
