SSA Civil Service Matters, Comr. Tade Adeyemi Appreciates Gov. Ododo for phasing out casualization in the State Civil Service

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo on Civil Service Matters, Comr. Tade Adeyemi has expressed his appreciation to Gov. Ododo for phasing out casualization in the State Civil Service.
The Senior Special Assistant made the disclosure following Gov. Ododo’s approval for the absorption of all the Staff of the Kogi State Vigilante Service in the State Civil Service.
Recalled that as part of efforts by the State Government to combat insecurity in the State, Gov. Ododo recently approved the absorption of the Kogi State Vigilante Personnel into the mainstream Civil Service.
To underscore the Governor’s directive, the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Tanko Mohammed, recently presented letters to the officers at the Commission’s headquarters.
Comr. Tade who spoke during the presentation of the letters of permanent employment to the staff, expressed appreciation to Gov. Ododo, pointing out that the issuance of permanent employment letters to the KSVA, was a gesture that cut’s across the 21 LGAs of the State.
Comr. Tade thanked Gov. Ododo for converting men of the Kogi State Vigilante Service from holding temporary appointment to that of permanent employment.
The SSA lauded Gov. Ododo for phasing out issues of casualization in the Kogi State Civil Service, congratulated the officers, described the gesture as first in history in the country.
The SSA urge the officers to remain committed and dedicated to their duties, describing their new position in the society as very important.
Comr. Tade urge the officers to reciprocate the gesture by putting in their best towards eradicating insecurity in the State.
It would be recalled that, over Two Thousand Five Hundred personnel were absorbed into the Public Service Sector, from the Kogi state Vigilante Service this year, a feat Comr. Tade described as unprecedented, described Gov Ododo as doing the State proud.
