Sen. Karimi Lauds Rescue of 17 victims kidnapped at Apamaro in Lokoja by Joint Taskforce.

 

… Commended Government’s effort, insisting, insecurity will be dealth with through collaboration.

The Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Sunday Karimi has praised the efforts of the Joint Taskforce composed of the officers of the Nigerian Army, Quick Response Units and Lokoja Local Government Hunters that successfully rescued 17 victims kidnapped at Apamaro in Adavi Local Government.

Sen. Karim praised the swift response of the security agencies that led to the kidnappers which led to the rescue of all 17 victims.

Sen. Karim commended the Council Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comr. Abdullahi Adamu for mobilizing the quick response and gallantry of the personnel.

He expressed appreciation to Security Agencies involved in the rescue, said it is heart warming coming a few days after successful missions in Ankomi, Tunga axis, Aleke, Angwan Sani, and Angwan Nyaba communities, rescuing kidnapped victims who have since been reunited with their families.

The Senator equally  expressed his appreciation to the efforts of the State Government for their commitment and support to the joint operations across the State, assured citizens, particularly Kogi West, that with the collaborative and coordinated efforts insecurity will soon be a thing of the past.

” Let me assure citizens that the State Government is not resting on it oars. They are resolved in bringing to a halt issues of insecurity. Government and all we the representatives are very much concerned”, called for calm and support.

 

Sen. Karim again sympathized with families of the deceased Police officers and Vigilante officers killed in recent attacks in the out sketch of Egbe Okoleke Isanlu Esa, Pategi road and Operation Post along Egbe Eruku road, a boundary town between Kogi and Kwara State where three policemen and two vigilantes were ambushed and killed.

He called on citizens and residents to collaborate with Government and relevant security agencies in information sharing as major support needed to fight insecurity.
