9 FRUITFUL YEARS ON THE THRONE, MUKADAM ASIWAJU ASIRU IDRIS,FCA FELICITATES WITH THE OHIMEGE IGU OF KOTON KARFE


 

The Honourable Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning, who doubles as the Turakin Kotonkarfe, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed his heartfelt felicitation to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Sani Isa-Koto, the Ohimege igu of Koton Karfe, the entire traditional council, sons and daughters of Koton Karfe on his 9th year anniversary on the seat of his forefathers, (Friday October 5th 2012 – Tuesday October 5th 2021).

The Ohimege igu of Koton Karfe is a Royal father whose enthronement is divinely stamped and earthly accepted, which is evident in the relative peace enjoyed by the people, healthy communal relationships and the sustainable development engendered 9 years down the line. Without micing words, His Royal Majesty is an epitome of royalty, cultural sustenance and penchant for developmental strides.

By virtue of my closeness to the kingdom and a prestigious chieftaincy title holder of Turakin igu of Koton Karfe, it places a dispassionate demands on me to always seek the advancement of the kingdom above any other considerations, hence, in his short time on the throne, Ohimege has brought prestige, honour to the stool of his forefathers and advancement to the kingdom with his stellar leadership capacity”. I am proud of him as a Royal father with class and a good father to me personally.

Let me commend, His Royal Majesty for his administrative dexterity in the traditional robe which has engendered years of peaceful coexistence, stability in the kingdom and most especially how he has led the Council as a partner in progress with the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in building a virile Kogi where lives and properties are secured. He’s a Royal father that has contributed immensely not only to the Greater Kogi project, rather he has become a shining light in the traditional cadre of the Nation.

I pray vehemently that Almighty Allah will grant His Royal Majesty more years on the throne of his forefathers in peace and sound health, without loosing his Gracious and shining image, but forever remain an inspirational figure and a Bridge builder of note. Amin

I wish His Royal Majesty many more years of peaceful, productive and progressive reign on the throne of his forebears.
