
Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi, So’mi Edumare, has sent a message of felicitations to Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi, CFR FSS MSS PSC, on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of his 74th birthday.

Otunba Adeniyi in a statement affirmed the dynamic leadership role the former former Chief of Defense Staff played that helped shaped the history of the country’s Military force in defending the nation’s territorial integrity.
Otunba Adeniyi said the former Admiral left behind lasting legacies of investment in people and infrastructure in the nation’s Defence architecture that keep memories of his service fresh and commendable.
The former Kogi West PDP Senatorial District Aspirant hailed the initiative and reforms that the former Defense Chief has instituted in the Military, borne out of his passion for a purposeful, result oriented and motivated force that places the safety of the country first, particularly the nation’s waterways, and other the Nigerian Army.
The former Senatorial District Aspirant prayed that the Almighty God will grant the former Naval Chief more courage, strength and wisdom as he continues to be of service to the country.
While wishing him a memorable birthday, Otunba Adeniyi prayed God to grant the former Defense Chief, many more years of celebration in good health and prosperity.
Born on 14th November 1948, Admiral Ogohi is a retired Nigerian Navy Admiral, who was the first Naval officer to become Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria from 1999 to 2003 and the first Naval Officer to reach four star rank in the Nigerian Military during the civilian administration of Nigeria.
