It is Martin Luther King Jnr. that said ” a genuine Leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus” His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Dr. Alh Yahaya Bello aptly epitomizes this statement.

First, it was in hushed tones. Then it came like a thunderbolt out of the blue: when a verdict was passed in the favour of the 2nd Runner of an election now the most security conscious Leader in Sub Sahara Africa. Admirers hailed, constructive observers gave their nods, casual observers were awe. Sadists were stunned , and detractors stranded ,of course, their was, in Shakespeare’s words: ” a talk told by an idiot,full of sound and furry, signifying nothing”
In no doubt, today ,he has justified the Divine mandate given to him by *Supreme Being* that couldn’t be changed not even the *supreme Court* .thus, became a practical testament of a Divine rescue mission in kogi State from insecurity, Youths restiveness,
economic woes , decaying infrastructure, religious intolerance,denial of the right of youth,tribal jingoism ,and other isms and skisms that characterized Kogi State before his emergence . Which of the good work of Gov Yahaya Bello can people deny ranging from addressing insecurity headlock , breaking the jinx of tribal overbearing, religious intolerance,placing the youth / women in their right position, economic revamping and all round Infrastructural development
