50th Birthday: Engr. Bashiru Visit Former Gov Bello, Lauds His Lasting Legacies.
Following his return to Nigeria after an official visit to China to reposition the Kogi State Solid Minerals sector, the Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr Bashiru Gegu, Sarkin Yaki paid a courtesy visit to his Boss and Godfather, Former Gov Yahaya Bello in honor of his 50th birthday.
Recalled that during the celebration which held in Abuja, Engr. Bashiru Gegu was away, but had placed an advert in the Nation Newspaper as well as a scroll message in AIT amongst other arrangements to celebrate a man he calls his political godfather.
The Commissioner visited FGYB to again wish Happy birthday to the White Lion of the Universe, pointing out that the former Governor is worthy of being celebrated everyday.
In his Golden Jubilee message published in in the Nation Newspaper, Engr. Bashiru Said:
Celebrating My Godfather, Political Genius, Builder of Men and Modern Kogi State.
Your Excellency, former Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello, On this special day, I, Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, Kogi State Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Commissioner, heartily rejoice with
My Godfather, a Political Genius, Builder of men and Modern Kogi State.
It is without mincing words that you are an epitome of unity, a uniting figure of high repute, that has helped unify the various segments of Kogi State.
Let me acknowledge your laudable accomplishments too numerous to mention when you served as Governor of our dear state and to thank you for laying the solid foundation for today’s Kogi’s unity and development.
I, therefore Join millions across the world in Celebrating a rare breed and a quintessential political leader of men, times and season.
