30th Coronation Anniversary: Ilorin Has Attained Cosmopolitan Status Under Emir Sulu-Gambari — Kam Holding Chief
The Group Managing Director of Kam Holding Limited, Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the occasion of his 30th Coronation Anniversary.
Dr. Yusuf described Ilorin as a city that has attained cosmopolitan status under the Emir’s exemplary leadership, noting that the ancient city—widely known as a hub of peace and scholarship—has witnessed remarkable transformation in the past three decades.
This was contained in a congratulatory message personally signed by Dr. Yusuf and made available to journalists in Ilorin.
The industrialist commended the Emir for his patriotism and peaceful disposition, adding that his reign has been characterized by harmony among residents irrespective of ethnic or religious background.
“There can be no better time than this auspicious occasion to reflect on how Ilorin, the Modicum of Peace and Scholarship, has fared and grown into a cosmopolitan city under Your Royal Highness’s kingship,” he said.
“As a patriotic leader, Your Royal Highness exemplifies peace, and it is heartwarming that peaceful co-existence among residents of Ilorin, regardless of ethnic inclination or religious leaning, has remained your watchword. For this and many other admirable attributes, Your Royal Highness is truly worthy of emulation,” Dr. Yusuf added.
He further stated: “I heartily congratulate Your Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Maimartaba Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of your 30th Coronation Anniversary on the revered throne of your forebears.
