The aides to the former Caretaker Chairman, Kabba Bunu LGA, Barr Zacchaeus Dare Michael kidnapped have regained their freedom.
Recalled that the former Caretaker Chairman alongside his aides and other people where last two Friday’s ago kidnapped.
The former Chairman who now doubles as the APC Candidate for the Local Government in the forthcoming Local Government election however escaped some few hours after his kidnap in a miraculous manner.
The 3 kidnapped aides where released alongside four others held in captivity since the last twelve days.
Speaking with the Nigerian Post, Barr. Dare expressed appreciation to God for the release, pointing out that what the enemy had thought would be used to end his life has become a testimony.
Barr. Dare expressed his thanks to the Kogi State Governor for the swiftness in ensuring that those abducted where released unhurt.
He further praised the men of the Nigerian Army, Police, DSS, Professional and Local hunters for their courage and bravery that led to the rescue.
He further expressed his appreciation to the good people of Kabba Bunu LGA and across the State who where in prayers that led to the successful release of those abducted.
The kidnapped persons where released and found along Oyo mining site at Obajana, with the call on the Security agencies to comb the forest along the area as it has been discovered to be a den of the kidnappers.
Those released include Omonisaiye Ayo Bank Andrew, Mr Olorundare Ojo Joe, a councillorship candidate for Egbeda Ward in Kabba/Bunu LGA and Sunday Ajayi the APC Youth leader in Egbeda Ward. They were all kidnapped alongside the Caretaker Chairman.
