2033: Hon. Aboh Congratulates House of Assembly Member Elect For Omala


 

Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. (Chief) Alh Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has congratulated the Kogi State House of Assembly elect representing Omala Constituency, Hon. Umar Yahaya (Connect) for emerging victorious in the just concluded elections.

Speaking in Abejukolo, Chief Aboh maintained that, “the glory days of APC in Omala Local Government is here, bringing a total end to the era of PDP and other opposition parties, Kogi State and Nigerian at large”.

Chief Aboh thanked the party supporters and entire people of Omala for embracing APC, her candidate and her leadership”. He expressed hope that better days are ahead.

The Council Chairman applauded the peaceful display of voters, the professional act of security agents and INEC officials for exhibiting high level of commitment to duty and keeping to the ideals of the commission.

He congratulated the candidate, Hon. Umar the people of the area and thanked all those who participated in one way or another to bring about this victory.

Alhaji Aboh called on all other contestants and participants to join force with the member elect and the APC to help move Omala forward.

Recall that the Kogi State House of Assembly election held on the 18th day of March, 2023 across the country including the 148 polling units, cutting across 11 wards in Omala Local Government with APC scoring total of 10, 083 votes to defeat her closest rival, the PDP, with total votes of 3,673. While Labour Party and NNPP took third and fourth positions with 1,351 and 888 votes respectively.
