2027 : BASSA NGE COMMUNITY IN GANAJA BACKS TINUBU, ODODO, YAHAYA BELLO FOR SENATE, SEA FOR CONTINUITY

The Bassa Nge community in Ganaja, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, has thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, former Governor Yahaya Bello for Senate, and Rt Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem for a return to the National Assembly as member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
The endorsement came during an interactive political engagement convened by Hon. Haruna Ganaja, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ajaokuta Local Government Chairmanship election.
Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Haruna Ganaja described Rt Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem (SEA) as “our own,” stressing that the people of Bassa Nge remain solidly behind his leadership and political aspirations.
He led the community in endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, former Governor Yahaya Bello for Senate, Hon Moses Aguva for House of Assembly Ajaokuta North state Contituency, Haruna Ganaja for Executive Chairman and Rt Hon Sanni Egidi for the House of Representatives ahead of future electoral contests.
Other speakers at the meeting congratulated Rt Hon Sanni Egidi on his victory at the APC primary election, commending his developmental strides and political inclusiveness in Ganaja and its environs.
They praised his collaboration with the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, noting that the partnership has attracted meaningful development projects to the area, including the Ganaja Primary School, primary healthcare facilities, and other notable infrastructural interventions.
The community members reaffirmed their support for the APC leadership while appealing for more developmental projects across the Bassa Nge community and Ganaja entirely.
Responding, Rt Hon Sanni Egidi expressed deep appreciation for the overwhelming support and confidence reposed in him by the people.
He noted that the meeting also provided an opportunity for him to submit himself for assessment by the people who have consistently supported his political journey.
According to him, “I have always enjoyed the support of the Bassa people during my elections, and I consider it important to come back and listen to the people directly.”
The lawmaker acknowledged the concerns and requests raised during the interaction and promised to intensify efforts toward delivering more democratic dividends to the area.
He further highlighted some of his achievements in office and assured the people of continued quality representation.
Rt Hon Sanni Egidi also urged the people to sustain their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Haruna Ganaja, and Moses Sanni Aguva while emphasizing the importance of electing former Governor Yahaya Bello to the Senate.
He called on party faithful and residents of Ajaokuta to remain united and committed to ensuring victory for all APC candidates across the board in future elections.
