2026 WORKERS’ DAY: COMR. TADE ADEYEMI COMMENDS GOVERNOR’S FOCUS ON WORKERS’ WELFARE IN KOGI

 

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo on Civil Service Matters, Comrade Tade Adeyemi, has congratulated Governor Ododo for his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of workers in Kogi State.

In a statement issued in Lokoja on Thursday, Comrade Tade acknowledged the resilience of workers across the state and commended the administration for its efforts to improve their welfare.

He highlighted prompt salary payments, the payment of leave bonuses, and the implementation of promotions as notable steps taken by the government to support and empower the workforce.

The SSA also recognized workers for their dedication to providing essential services despite challenges, while encouraging them to uphold hard work, accountability, and a constructive relationship between labour and government.

According to him, Workers’ Day serves as a reminder of the struggles, sacrifices, and achievements of the labour force, and he expressed the solidarity of workers with Governor Ododo for his continued support for Kogi workers.

Comrade Tade further praised the Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka, for his role in fostering cooperation between workers and the administration. He expressed optimism that better days lie ahead for the state’s workforce.

Concluding his message, he prayed for workers in the state: “May your hard work be recognized and rewarded, and may you find fulfillment and joy in all that you do.”
