2025 Workers Day: Kogi NUP Chairman Commends NLC Chairman, SA Labour Matters, Gov. Ododo on Successful Celebration.
The Kogi State Chairman, Nigerian Union of Pensioners, Engr. Clement Ohida, has sent a message of congratulations to the Kogi State Chairman, Nigerian Labour Congress and to Comr. Onuh Edoka, the Special Adviser on Labour Matters to the State Government on the successfull hosting of the 2025 Workers Day.
Similarly, the NUP Chairman also congratulated the State Government for the successful workers day celebration held in the State, described the relationship between the State Government and workers as encouraging.
The NUP State Chairman in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, described the organization of the 2025 as historic, commended the turnout of workers in appreciation of the positive disposition of the present administration to workers.
The NUP Chairman urged the State NLC Chairman and the Special Adviser on Labour Matters to sustain the feat achieved in the organization of the Workers Day and in their struggle for improved welfare for workers and Pensioners in the State.
Engr. Clement Ohida, further used the statement to express his appreciation to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his positive disposition and friendliness to workers and Pensioners in the State, expressed hope that it will continue in the years to come.
