The House of Representatives flag bearer of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. Uchola Ojogbane Omale has promised to prioritize the welfare and empowerment of the constituents if he is elected into office.
Hon Uchola, made the promise during a chat with our correspondent in Ugwolawo, said his aspiration is borne out of the need to put smiles on the faces of the people.
According to him, never have the people gone through the kind of hardship they are experiencing. He said it is unfortunate and unbearable for the people. Talk of inflation, insecurity, closure of schools, lack of good health care system, percentage salaries to workers and many other things, has made life unbearable for our people.
He emphasized that the hope of living a good life lies with choosing the right representatives and leaders in 2023 said he represent that change to better life for the people.
“With the right policy direction, diligence and focus, there is hope that our Constituency will still work and return to the good old days,” he maintained.
ThePDP candidate also pointed out that youth development would receive his keen attention, if given the mandate to represent his constituency.
He bemoaned the high level of youth unemployment in the Constituency, vowing that, he would do everything possible to reverse the situation in his constituency.
Hon. Uchola stated that as a private individual he had helped in facilitating the employment of youths into federal ministries and agencies and also helped women in accessing micro credits
Hon Uchola said when elected into the House of Representatives, he would lobby the right agencies, as a way of giving quality representation to his people.
He urged those who are yet to undertake voter registration to ensure that they take advantage of the window provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), before it expires.
He said that registration and collection of Personal Voters Cards (PVCs), remains the only way whereby they could vote for the candidate of their choice
