The Director General of the Tinubu/Shetima Support Grassroots Initiative (TSSGI), Hajiya Salifat Lawal has said that the Presidential Candidate of the all Progressives Congress, (APC) in the February 25,2023 Presidential election,Bola Ahmed Tinubu would empower women in the Country if elected.
The Director General disclosed this to our Correspondent when the all Progressives Congress, presidential Campaign train landed in Gusau, the Zamfara State Capital, Saturday February 28, 2023.
Speaking further, She said the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had demonstrated his concern for women when he heldsway in Lagos State, adding that Over 40%of women in Lagos were part of his administration that transformed the state.so she has no doubt in her mind that the presidential candidate if elected will replicate that in the Country at large.
Hajiya Salifat also Commended the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Rt Hon, Bello Mattanwale for his sincere Commitments and efforts towards Ensuring the security of lives and property in the state.
She hailed Governor Mattanwale for his inclusion of women in his Government, stressing that the Governor has about three Women who are Commissioners in his Cabinet and other sensitive positions that are occupied by women.
Also speaking, Maryam Muhammed who is a Director General in the office of the First lady of Zamfara State, lauded the effort of the Governor for carrying women in the state along in all aspects of his administration, pointing out that, Women in the state had never had it so good as it is now under the current Government.
