Gov. Yahaya Bello says Kogi State belongs to the All Progressives Congress and the APC he disclosed is Kogi State, described the State as a no go area for the opposition parties.
Gov. Bello made the revelation at a meeting with Okene/Ogori/Magongo and Lokoja/KKF federal Constituency APC stakeholders, expressed optimism that the State will deliver the highest percentage of votes to the Presidential Candidate of the Party in the forthcoming February election.
Gov. Bello thanked the APC for making the party proud in 2015, appreciated them for doing a good job returning President Muhammadu Buhari, equally thanked the APC members for doubling the votes for President Mohammadu Buhari in 2019.
Gov. Bello assured that the APC would deliver the highest number of votes than any other State in 2023, explained that the APC is on the threshold of doing more than what was done in the past, said the APC in the last election scored a hundred percent of seats in the Senate, seven out of nine House of Representatives seat, scored a hundred percent seat in the House of Assembly, assured of the highest votes for APC from Kogi State in 2023.
Gov. Bello urged the members of the APC in the State to vote Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu in the coming Presidential election, promised the Presidential Candidate the highest percentage of votes to be returned from any state for the Presidential Candidate.
Gov. Bello promised to deliver all Senate seats,
House of representative in the State to APC, described the present dispensation as another amazing time for the APC, said with the ways things are going in the state a time will come PDP will not have a member in the State.
He assured that the APC in the State will play by the rules, however warned against any act of crime and criminality under the guise of politics.
Gov. Bello disclosed that the APC would in the coming days come up with different strategy towards enlightening the APC members on method of election.
While pointing out that power resides with the people at the grassroots, urged the APC members to begin house to house and door to door campaign, however warned against any act of anti party activities or sabotage that would work against the party’s Fortune.
