The ability to attract Northern Legislators Support for Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Presidential aspiration is indicative of the Legislative experience being made manifest by the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly on Special Duties, Hon. Oniwaye Olusegun John Ogede 1, made the disclosure in a chat with Newsmen in Lokoja, commended the dexterity of the Speaker for his ability to bring together the Northern Legislators to endorse the Presidential aspiration of Gov. Bello.
Hon. Oniwaye described the aspiration of Gov. Bello as one that if achieved would reposition the country positively in the areas of security, unity and in the improvement of the Socio Economic development of the country, reason why all hands needs to be on board to rally support for him.
The SSA Special Duties lauded Speaker Mathew Kolawole for the giant stride efforts in reaching out and to curry support for Gov. Bello, described the Northern Legislators as a veritable platform to drum support for the Governor’s Presidential aspiration.
While praising Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole for the efforts towards ensuring that the Governor’s Presidential aspiration is realized, Hon. Oniwaye, praised his earlier visits to all the State Houses of Assembly in the country, urged him to sustain the efforts until the Presidential aspiration is realized.
He noted that if the achievements of Gov Bello in security, Youth and Women Empowerment, Infrastructural development amongst others is anything to go by, said no stone should be left unturned in ensuring that Gov. Bello becomes the country’s President in 2023, so as to enable him replicate same feat across the country.
The SSA commended RT. Hon. Mathew Kolawole for successfully piloting the affairs of the Kogi State House of Assembly with the legislative experience ganarned over the years, expressed satisfaction with the calmness and peace the House of Assembly is witnessing.
He concluded by restating his unflinching Commitment and support for the Speaker in achieving his desired political aspirations now and in the future.
