As November 11th draws closer and parties scheme for victory, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has begun to gather more momentum ahead of other political Parties in Kogi State.
A formal House of Assembly Aspirant from Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon. Jacob Alih Monday (JAM) has declared his full support for the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka.
Hon. Monday Jacob made this known in Lagos today while addressing Newsmen ahead of the visit of the SDP Guber candidate to Lagos this weekend.
Monday who promised to collapse his political structure for the success of His Excellency Alh Muritala Yakubu Ajaka in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State attributed the cause to the deception and betrayal witnessed during the just concluded APC governorship primary in Kogi state.
In his word “I have made up my mind to mobilise support for the SDP candidate which is consequent upon the high level of betrayal, deception, treachery and extortion witnessed in the just concluded APC primary in the State” he alleged.
He further noted that despite his investment and commitment to the APC as a party he can not patronise falsehood and dishonesty at the expense of personal political philosophy.
JAM added that the current attack on the SDP and Muri supporters in Kogi State can not distract God from making the SDP candidate emerge victorious come November 11th.
