2023: Kogi APC Restates Support for Gov. Bello’s Presidency During Rotimi Amechi’s Visit.


 

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja has said that Kogi delegates were unanimous in their decision to back the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in his bid to become the next president.

 

 

Onoja was speaking on Friday in Lokoja while playing host to the immediate past Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amechi.

“I am sure you are aware that our energy, and vibrant governor is contesting for same position and we Kogi delegates have resolved to give our support 100 percent to him so that he can replicate what he has been doing in Kogi in the country.”

The Deputy governor, Edward Onoja however expressed confidence that Amechi possed the needed agility and stamina needed to move the country forward.

“The next president must come to the table with physical stamina an energy.

He however urged delegate to vote the best candidate that would best serve the interest of the people.

He also Prayed that God should give us the best leader that would deliver the nation from the present predicament.

Amaechi however said that even though he was aware that Governor Bello was a contestant,he as an older, with more experience should be give the change to lead so that he will provide him with needed experience about governance.

“I am aware that His Excellency is also a contestant,but I am the only leading contestant,older with more experience and I want to inform him that I will provide him with necessary experience he needs to govern when the time comes”. He said.

Amechi who was accompanied by the immediate past Chief of Army staff, Tukur Buratai said “I’m the leading aspirant, as a young man, you must allow an older man to lead,I am more experienced,if you vote for me,i am determined to move the country forward”
