A non-partisan group, PUSH for Emefiele for President 2023 on Thursday urged the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele to run for president describing the latter as one of the best figures in the country endowed with the political and economic solutions to the nation’s challenges.
National Coordinator/Convener, PUSH for Emefiele for President 2023, Prestly Okojie , while flagging off the support group for the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele in Benin City, urged him to run for president.
Okojie described the CBN governor as an asset to the country and a personality that should be encouraged to join the race for the presidency.
According to him, Mr. Godwin Emefiele is a detrabalized Nigerian with vast experience and knowledge in business and finance and the potentials to turn around the fortunes of the country if given the opportunity
He added that the CBN governor in his own capacity as a public officer with an unblemished record is committed to the growth and development of the country, regardless of tribal or political affiliation.
Okojie who commended the large turnout of Edo people that witnessed the maiden flag off ceremony of the
PUSH for Emefiele for President 2023 project said the support base in Edo was intimidating and very impressive.
