The Late Prince Abubakar Audu Political Family In Lokoja LGA have endorsed the aspiration of Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, a banker and a son of the late former Governor of Kogi state Prince Abubakar Audu for the 2023 Governorship election.
The endorsement was made after a meeting held by the group at the NUJ Press Centre Lokoja, said the endorsement followed the Sterling qualities displayed by the late Prince Abubakar Audu as Governor of the State.
Speaking on the endorsement, a staunch supporter of the All Progressives Congress in the State, Alh. Mohammed Hassan, aka Rod, pointed out that the State would once again experience the massive infrastructure development associated with the Late Prince Abubakar Audu, if Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu is elected in 2023, described him as what the state needs in 2023.
Rod who was passionate about the aspiration of Prince Shaibu, appealed to the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello and the APC in the State to adopt Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as the APC candidate in 2023, stressing that he has contributed his own quota in rallying Support for the Administration and APC in the State and all it takes to deliver the State.
Rod described Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as the APC best option for 2023, said if he is elected, he has the capacity to move the state forward in all sphares of socio-economic development.
The APC Chieftain expressed confidence that the experience of Prince Shaibu puts him in a vantage to unite the State, assurred that the same developmental strides achievements under the late Prince Abubakar Audu would be witnessed in the State if Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu is elected as Governor, assurring that he will equally build on the achievements of Gov Yahaya Bello.
Alhaji Rod described Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as a generous philanthropist per excellent, said he has touched lives in positive ways by sinking several boreholes, health care centres across the State, added too that he has empowered many young persons through his payment of school fees and other forms of empowerment, described him as qualified to serve in 2023.
He described the Governorship Aspiration of Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu as people oriented, described him as a Youth at heart, said his desire has always been a one united Kogi State.
He stressed that if elected as Governor in 2023, Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu will make the provision of infrastructure development a priority, described him as a man loved across the State by the Youths and Women.
Alh. Rod assurred that with Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, the APC will convincingly win the State in 2023, said his father’s good works and Politics of development, has endeared him to the hearts of the people of the State.
He disclosed that the Late Prince Abubakar Audu Political Family will from February begin a Sensitization tour of the state for the actualization of the aspiration of Prince Shaibu Abubakar.
