The Presidential Ambition of Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has scored a big boost with the
Congress for Better Nigeria, throwing it support for the aspiration.
The Congress For Better Nigeria is a conglomeration of Frontline Activists, has its headquarters in Ibadan, Oyo State, South West Nigeria.
Speaking on the decision to rally support for Gov. Yahaya Bello, the Spokesman of Congress For Better Nigeria, North Central Zone, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Micheal, an Activists and a Human Rights fighter, said the decision to endorse the aspiration is borne out of the numerous achievements of Gov. Bello in Youths and Women Development.
The Congress for Better Nigeria says it will at an enlarged Meeting of the Congress in Ibadan, officially flags off the sensitization meeting across the country for the Gov. Bello’s Presidency.
Barr. Dare who also doubles as the Founder and Executive Director of Justice Helpline Foundation, said the Congress would begin town hall meetings that would comprise the Youth, women, artisans and farmers amongst other critical stakeholders to drum nation wide support for Gov Yahaya Bello.
The Spokesman of the Congress equally said it attention has been drawn to comment made by a supposed Distinguished Senator, Sen. Dino Melaye that the Gov. Bello was not fit to be President, lamented that such unprovoked, malicious, irresponsible and mischievous utterances would be coming from a man who understands how destiny works.
Barr. Dare described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a man of destiny, pointing out and assuring that the Youths and eof Nigeria has resolutely resolved to work for the actualization of the Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Presidency come 2023.
The Spokesman said the Congress has weighed all options available and has considered Gov Yahaya Bello as capable and fit for the Presidency, maintained that he has all that is required to make Nigeria great.
The Congress used the statement to urged the people of Nigeria to remain focussed in the Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Presidency, insisting that it is real and a project of no retreat no surrender.
In a related development, the Congress For Better Nigeria says it is going to have a meeting with Think Naija and Emancipate NIGERIA Network.
The two groups, Barr Dare disclosed comprises of men of capacity, academic wizard, prolific writers, researchers and legal luminaries across the 36 state of the federation.
He said the members of the groups are willing to after the meeting in Ibadan tommorow storm Kogi State and take inventory of all GYB achievement to proof negative critics wrong.
