…..the decision to deliver APC from top to bottom was unanimous
The Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA leads other Isanlu appointees to engage polling unit canvassers and other party faithfuls on party matters, especially how the progressive family will deliver all her candidates in the coming general election from top to bottom.
Mukadam Asiwaju while addressing the numerous party faithfuls present in his country home where the meeting was held, said the coming election is not an end in itself, but am important means to the collective end we seek as a people. He charged them to be more committed, consistent and loyal to the progress and electoral victory of the party, especially in the coming general election. We must endeavour to market our candidates, preach the gospel of the party and thereafter deliver at the poll.
He enjoined the polling unit canvassers to bring added value to the progressive family, by been dedicated and focused to the onerous task of wining more people to the party, as we plan to win with wide margin for all our candidates at the polling units and wards, from the President down to the various House of Assemblies.
In his words ” Our gathering today is to further strengthen our family ties and also to discuss the imperative need to deliver APC candidates at the coming general election. There are rumours of some mushroom parties trying to hoodwink you to their party with falsehood, it’s not a brainer, they will only use you for election purpose and dump you thereafter. But, we are long age family members, though with some gaps that needs to be closed in terms of our reward system, but be rest assured we won’t abandone anyone”.
“Let me also use this auspicious gathering to beg whoever might have been wronged, through error of omission or commission, should please forgive and forget. Let forge a common front to the poll and am assure victory will be ours”
He expositorily harps on the modest achievements of APC Government at both Federal and state levels as led by Governor Yahaya Bello, which cut across Educational system, Health, Agriculture, Public service Reform, Infrastructural development and social investment services, saying we are poised to do more. Presently, we are assiduously working on programs that will have more direct impact on people at the base of our party pyramid, Asiwaju stated.
The other state appointees at the meeting spoke glowingly about the party and the modest milestones of the New Direction administration, saying the only Panacea to have more dividends of democracy is to vote all APC candidates from President, Senate, House of Representative and House of Assembly.
