2023 Election: Iduoriyekemwen Sets For Smooth Victory — gets ancestral blessings

The PDP Candidate for Edo South Senatorial election, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen Saturday, paid a courtesy visit on his maternal home Ugieghudu, Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Edo State

The visit which forms part of the Candidate’s moves on his journey to Senate became sacrosanct following calls from close family ties to come home

Matthew Iduoriyekemwen last visited his maternal home in September during which he led a truckload of relief materials to his kinsmen

During the visit, prayers geared towards the victory at the forthcoming Senatorial poll were said by elders of the community

Speaking, Odionwere of the community, Pa Francis Omoregbe, represented by the Edaiyi, Pa Johnson Oviase recalled Iduoriyekemwen’s good works in the community in his days as law maker in Edo State House of Assembly

“You have never turned your back at us; whenever we call, you are always there; your visit to our community today is a testament of your humility and concern for our us; we are solidly behind you”

Amongst the Edo South Senatorial Candidate’s entourage were the PDP Candidate, Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency, Hon. Roland Asoro, Candidate, Ikpoba-Okha Constituency, Hon. Nicholas Asonsere, former Commissioner for Art, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, Hon. Osazee Osemwengie-Ero, women and youths
