As the general elections comes up next year, some Political groups have called on politicians to campaign with issues and appeal to them to eschew violence before, during and after the 2023 general elections.
The group, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Edo State, gave the advice on Friday while paying a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
The Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Edo State, Omoregie Joseph also solicited the support of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council in making their activities known to the public.
He further said that , they were in the council to formally present the IPAC executives to the chairman.
“Out duty as body is to make sure proper thing is done within the political parties in the state. To also represent and fight for the interest of the body”. IPAC is made of political parties in the state.
The chairman has earlier congratulated Comrade Festus Alenkhe on his emergence as the chairman of the Edo NUJ Council.
On his part, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe assured the body of the Union’s readiness to give them all the necessary support in the area of publicity…. Continue reading
