The convener of Avoyi Team 4 Ododo, Hon. Billie Nwogu, has passionately appealed to the people of Kogi State to throw their weight behind Ododo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, as he vies for the state’s gubernatorial seat in the November election.
Hon. Nwogu made the appeal on Thursday in a well-attended meeting with some supporters of her group in Lokoja.
She emphasized that Ododo’s genuine intentions and dedication to the people’s welfare make him the ideal candidate to bring forth the long-awaited gains of democracy.
She highlighted the transformative vision of Ododo, describing him as a selfless leader poised to uplift the state and improve the lives of its citizenry.
She expressed confidence that Ododo’s track record of exemplary service and commitment to the well-being of the community as seen in some efforts when replicated across various sectors, would foster significant growth for all.
Hon. Nwogu praised Ododo’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, citing his impeccable credentials and wealth of experience in public service.
“Ododo possesses the necessary skills and determination to steer the state toward progress and development. His ambition is rooted in a genuine desire to serve the people of our great state,” the convener asserted.
“He is a man of principles, known for his tireless work ethic and deep concern for the welfare of others. Let us wholeheartedly work for his candidacy because he will deliver the gains of democracy to our people,” she added.
The Avoyi Team 4 Ododo is a socio-political group in Kogi State with an interest in good governance and civic engagement.
