Alhaji Falalu Bello says 12 sitting Governors (Name withheld) strived hard to join PRP but were slowed down because of fear of tempering with the party’s standing ideology and from being hijacked.
With political activities springing up gradually in preparation for 2023 elections in the country, different parties are repositioning to compete favourably with others in the election.
Alhaji Falalu Bello, a known and highly respected politician in Kaduna, revealed that his party’s convention has been scheduled for August.
Falalu who is the National interim Chairman of People’s Redemption Party (PRP) also said twelve governors were interested in joining their party.
According to him, 12 sitting Governors (Name withheld) strived hard to join PRP but were slowed down because of fear of tempering with the party’s standing ideology and from being hijacked.
While interacting with a journalist, he disclosed that PRP party convention has already been scheduled for August this year, Falalu Bello said he has no interest in national chairman of the party.. According to him,” My main interest is not how to make money or get position but to build the party and make it strong for people to win election under it, to correct the country’s imbalance. “I’m not interested in commissioner or governor because I’m more than that now. The President that I can do, I’m not interested.
