Comrade Isreal Femi Alonge The Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Kogi State Chapter, felicitates with Youths in Kogi State and across the globe for being alive to witness the end of the year 2020 and for also seeing the year 2021 amidst all odds.
Alonge described 2020 as a tough year, noting that only the grace of God was sufficient for every who is witnessing the newly birthed year 2021 to conquer the inherent challenges that came along with the forgone year 2020.
He called on Youths to remain their brothers keepers and stay United in the year 2021 for according to him, only in unity can positive things be collectively achieved.
He also enjoined government at various levels to remain committed to their promises on job creation opportunities and other entrepreneurship skills schemes to the youths in the State and across the country, stressing that in building the capacities of the Youths, a Nation indeed can be said to be building itself.
He further enjoined the Youths to remain law abiding as they have been in the state and also remain cooperative with all Government policies within the State. He noted that the success of any Government lies greatly in the level of cordial relationship between itself and the youths. Therefore, Youths should always embrace the arms of cordial relationship extended to them by the government for in this way, greater things can be achieved.
He also appreciated His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State for being a Youthful and Useful governor particularly to the youths.
He said Governor Yahaya Bello’s recommendation and the Local Government Council Chairmen’s implementation of 21 NYCN’s Coordinators in the State as Council Secretaries and Supervisory Councilors as respective Council’s Local arrangements deemed it fitting, was indeed a perfect way to end the year 2020 for the youths in Kogi State.
Alonge pointed that this very kind gesture from Governor Yahaya Bello is one that calls for reciprocation from the Nigerian Youths and that beginning from this year 2021, Youths will rise to demand for him for a bigger national assignment, emphasising that one good turn deserves another.
He prayed that the year 2021 will be a year of fruitful encounter both for individuals and Government. He also prayed that various social menace facing our country be confronted with lasting solutions that the country may remain united.
