2021 Children’s Day: Zacharias pledges to support education of children in his constituency


 

The member representing Idah Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives has assured that he would not relent in pushing for the rights of children in his constituency, including their inalienable right to a good education as he has always done.

David Zacharias in a statement to children in his constituency to mark the 2021 children day celebration said, children must be given all the necessary care and attention, especially quality education, which they require to attain their goals in life.

Zacharias, who said he always identifies with children in his constituency through the various scholarship schemes he has initiated at all levels of education by providing various forms of fees, school materials and other educational essentials, notes that in support of the age-long maxim that “children are the leaders of tomorrow”, concerted efforts must be done by all well-meaning Nigerians to achieve a better tomorrow for Nigerian children.

The lawmaker assured that he would always champion the cause of the Nigerian children both in Parliament and outside, just as he called on chairmen of Local Governments in the state as well as spirited individuals, to contribute to the education of children in their localities

According to Zacharias, he has noticed that children from Idah constituency have a lot of potentials that must be carefully harnessed through good education and training, just as he said his sports and skills development programmes are targeted at children to achieve their purpose.

On caring for children at home in order for them to become responsible members of the society, the lawmaker called on parents to be responsible and responsive in taking good care and training of their children so that the country would be better for it in future.

He wished them a spirit filled celebration and urged them to concentrate on their studies.
