Sultan declares Friday Eid-ul-fitr in Nigeria


The crescent for the month of Shawwal1444 has been sighted on Thursday in Jere and Borno State. Subsequently, Friday 21st, April 2023 is the day of Eid-ul-fitr in Nigeria.

This was announced by the President General of Islamic Council of Nigeria, Alh Sa’ad Abubakar and Sultan of Sokoto on Thursday.
