SSA Info visits Bassa Chairman solicits more support for Ododo’s administration

 

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s Senior Special Assistant on Information, Communication Strategy, Hon Chris Ben-Kato has called on Bassa All Progressives Congress APC leaders to do more on their support to the noble administration of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Hon Ben-Kato made the call when he visited the Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, Hon Theophilus Adama in his office at Oguma the headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area on Wednesday.
The SSA on information said since assumption of office, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has placed the welfare of Local Government workers and rural dwellers on the top burner of his Advanced New Direction Administration in the state.
Hon Ben-Kato further said at the moment construction of feeder roads across the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state is ongoing simultaneously with the rehabilitation of primary health care facilities.
He further noted that His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in his wisdom introduced the Ward Special Assistants in all the two hundred and thirty nine wards in the state thereby placing the governance of the state in the hands of the Democrats at the grassroots.
He assured the Council Chairman of his continued cooperation in contributing his quota to the development of the Local Government Area adding that he was glad to be part of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration which he described as “people oriented.”
In his response, Bassa Council Chairman, Hon Theophilus Adama said he was delighted on the number of leaders Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo appointed in his administration from Bassa Local Government Area. He maintained that Governor Ododo has continued to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello through his Advanced New Direction Administration.
Hon Adama said at the Local Government level, he is doing his best to replicate the good work of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He maintained that all that is needed is unity among the appointees to move the Local Government Area forward
Hon Adama thanked Hon Ben-Kato for the visit saying he would always welcome his suggestions on ways to develop the Local Government Area.
