Reps. Halims Fetes Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro With Water As Projects Commissioning Causes Standstill

The ancient city of Ankpa and by extension, the Federal Constituency is in standstill as the Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims commissions earth road and lots of solar powered boreholes in Ankpa and Olamaboro Local Government Areas.

 

The Commissioning exercise was flagged off at His community, Angwa-Ogebe, where the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Chief Edward David Onoja commissioned a borehole and a three kilometer earth road connecting the community to Ojede in Ankpa Local Government Area.

The ceremony had in attendance a cross section of Sons and Daughters of the two Local Government Areas from far and near among whom were the Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Kashim Akor, Honorable Members Representing Ankpa 1, Ankpa 2 and Olamaboro State Constituencies, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu and Hon Anthony Alewo Ujah respectively.

The highly powerful entourage of the Federal Lawmaker proceeded to commission the solar powered boreholes constructed at Lagos Street in honour of the Onu Ankpa, Ako, ruling dynasty, Ojeko at Ejegbo Road, Enjema market square and Egbula. Other locations of commissioning include Ojoku Bangele and Okaba, both in Ojoku district of Ankpa Local Government as well as Emonyoku in Ogugu, Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.

At all the venue of commissioning exercises, a repeated order of programs gave community representatives an opportunity of remarks and the in sequence, exalted the People’s Honorable for giving back to the people in a manner never witnessed in the history of Ankpa Federal Constituency.

Rep. Halims in his separate addresses assured the people of his commitment to do more stressing that his main essence of coming into elective politics was to serve the people and nothing will deter him from that motivation.

The Executive Chairmen of Ankpa and Olamaboro Local Government Areas, Hon Abagwu Ibrahim and Hon. Adejoh Nicodemus respectively, the Kogi State APC Women Leader, Hajiya Rabi Emere and the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Youth and Women Mobilization for Ankpa Federal Constituency, Hon Mohammed Ibrahim were also on the list of dignitaries in the Commissioning exercise.
