Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon SANNI EGIDI ABDULRAHEEM has sent his congratulatory felicitation to Alh. ODODO AHMED USMAN,(OAU), the Kogi State APC Governorship Candidate who will fly APC flag ahead of November 11, 2023 guber polls.
Addressing the press in Abuja shortly after the Federal High Court Judgement today, Wednesday, 12th July, 2023, Representative SANNI EGIDI ABDULRAHEEM asserts that “Governor YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO’s incredible legacies that has helped to transform Kogi infrastructures and the economy in the last seven years of purposeful NEW DIRECTION GOVERNMENT for the people needs to be consolidated through ALHAJI USMAN ODODO as the next governor of Kogi State insha Allah.” Hon SEA further stressed that Alh. Usman Ododo, who was duly elected and emerged the winner in the transparent APC primary election is adjudged by the entire Kogi APC members as the rightful candidate that will expressly win the election come November 11 because Ododo is intellectually, morally and administratively capable to consolidate and deliver for the people.
Recall that Senator SMART ADEYEMI, who was also a contestant in that primary election claimed dissatisfaction in the outcome of the primaries and headed to court for redress but the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, today, threw out the petition brought before it by Senator Smart for lack of substantive evidence to prove that the Kogi governorship primary that produced Ododo as the winner was marred with irregularities. The court, however, held that USMAN ODODO was validly elected and he’s the authentic candidate of the APC based on all the documents presented by Ododo, the defendant.
