Portable Water: Engr. Joseph Appreciates Gov Ododo For Fulfilling Campaign Promise To Igbaruku/Iyamerin Ward of Yagba West

The entire community of Igbaruku/Iyamerin Ward is overwhelmed with joy as Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo donates Motorised Borehole to provide portable water to the community.

Engr. Joseph Olusegun, the Kogi State commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, who served as the Ododo Joel Campaign Director General for Yagba West Local Government during the November 11th 2023 Kogi gubernatorial election, during one of the party’s rallies, made a promise of provision of portable water to the people of Iyamerin Igbaruku ward on behalf of the APC gubernatorial candidate who by the grace of God is now the incumbent governor of Kogi State.

Engr. Joseph expresses unreserved appreciation to Gov Ahmed Usman for ensuring that the promise made to the people of Igbaruku Iyamerin Ward is brought to fulfilment as the Kogi State Director General of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, RUWASA, led a team of the agency to Igbaruku/Iyamerin community to drill, install and inaugurate a motorised borehole for access to portable water to the entire residents of the community.

“Your Excellency sir, this kind act of yours has further proven to the people that indeed your word remains your bond and that you are not the regular politician who promises and not fulfils. The joy on the faces of residents of this peaceful and loving community can’t be overemphasised”.

The commissioner expresses satisfaction with residents of the community for their conduct and support to the continuity and consolidation administration of governor Ahmed Usman, stressing his optimism that this is only but a tip of the iceberg to be enjoyed not just in the community alone but across the entire Yagba West Local Government Area.

Recall that governor Ahmed gave an express approval for the construction of township roads in Yagba West local government in which work has since commenced.

Present to receive the RUWASA Director General and his team team in Igbaruku Iyamerin for the inauguration exercise include the All Progressive Congress Chairmanship Candidate of Yagba West Council Election, Hon. Tosin Olokun, Hon. Femi Adeyeye, Hon. Emmanuel Folorunsho and the host of others.
