Newly Elected Leaders Enjoined To Run A People-centric Administration

As the country gears towards the 29th May handover date for the newly elected leaders across the country with the issuance of certificate of returns to these leaders by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, a charge has been made for them to opt for a people-centric style of governance devoid of any form of primordial or divisive sentiment.

This charge was given by a Rt. Brig -Gen. Bello Adullahi Muhammed in Minna, the capital city of Niger State during the issuance of certificate of returns to the newly elected Gov. Umar Bago and his Deputy… alongside also the newly elected state legislators by INEC which was supervised by a national commissioner of the commission from Abuja.

Rt. Brig-Gen. Bello. A. Muhammed who holds a traditional title of Sadauki Agie maintained that since the election has come and gone, the lucky winners cum leaders should rather concentrate in carrying everyone along in their administration and not go the line of trivial issues capable of dividing either the states or country apart further.

“In an election, a lot of people contest, however only but a few are chosen “, he said, adding that the few chosen ones now becomes the fathers of the day.

Harping further, he stated that, haven won, there wouldn’t be any need whatsoever to emphasize on anyone to either being seen as APC, PDP or LP member. To this pan-Nigerian and frontline politician, what is of more importance at this material time is to satisfy everyone by carrying them along.

On the issue of those who were dissatisfied with the outcome of the presidential election, he rather cautioned them just as he made a quick quip that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
