This Year’s maiden edition of
Ile’ya omo Okun Home coming Festival powered by Yeye Oge of Okunland comes up tomorrow in Kabba.
In a statement signed by the organisers, the Ile’ya omo okun. Home coming festival to be hosted by Yeye Omoleye Tolufashe Aiyelabo is in conjunction with Labacash Media Events.
According to the organisers, the event would witness special recognition of some distinguished personalities, Oga Okun Awards, Omidan Oge 2020, Yeye Oge Cares and Okun Super Cook.
Gov. Yahaya Bello is the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion while Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to the Governor would make a special appearance.
The Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu LGA, Hon. Moses Olonrunleke would be the Chief Host.
Similarly, Barr. Femi Mokikan the ODA National President and Dcn. Olusuyi Otitoju ODA National President and Federal Commissioner, Public Complaint Commission are the Host.
The Guest Speaker at the occasion would be Rev. Father Paul Kolade Tubi, of the Federal University Lokoja, would speak on the topic: Ile’ya omo Okun – A Philosophy and Praxis of Liberation For Okun People.
The Spiritual Father’s of the day are Sheik Abdulrahaman Aduanigba, Chief Imam of Yoruba Ilorin, Rt. Rev. Bamidele Ibikunle, Bishop of Methodist, Okun Diocese and HSH Oba Olasehinde Ayomideji.
According to the organisers the event would hold at 95 Degrees Event Centre, Kabba has been well packaged to meet the culture of the people.
